Pan Cooke is a writer, illustrator, and “cartoonivist” from Dublin, Ireland. He is best known for his social justice comics, which explore topics ranging from police violence to mental health awareness. His accessible visual storytelling has built a large following on social media, and he has collaborated with leading human rights organisations, including Amnesty International and Campaign Zero.

In 2023, he published his debut graphic memoir, Puzzled, which tells the story of his experience growing up with undiagnosed OCD. Told with endearing honesty and humour, Puzzled highlights the importance of empathy, both for ourselves and for those who may be struggling with something they don’t yet understand.

Pan is currently working on his second book, Say Their Names, co-written with influential U.S. activist and organiser Nsé Ufot.
